IPv6 is the next generation Internet. Here are some facts about IPv6:
- IP Address space is 128 bits (as compared to IPv4's 32 bits)
- broadcasting is not inherited from IPv4
- Multicasting has a "scope" field which improves scalability
- IPv6 header is simpler than IPv4 header
- most operating systems support it now
