BBC's "Power of Nightmares" is a 3 part mini series that is a must see. It gives insite into the psychological hacking that has created the extreme views of both the East and the West.

End of Suburbia If you watch no other movies this year, watch this one. It shows the media and political hacking the auto industry giants have done to create suburbia, and explains the issues with the peak of oil production, which is right now.

Das Boot One of best (anti-) war movies ever made. Make sure to see the Director's Cut version if possible.
