If you're going long distance amateur (ham) radio work, you might be interested in DX clusters. Some consider it "cheating", that is up to you to determine.
$ telnet dxc.ve7cc.net
You enter your amateur radio callsign and you're ready to go.
show/dx
will show the last 5 DX contacts
show/dx VE3*
will show all of the recent activity by VE callsigns
show/dx 6
will show you the recent 6M (50MHz) activity.
show/dx/7 ve
will show you the last 7 VE* contacts
